WORS has taken over administration of this event for 2021 and Race Director, Don Edberg is relying on a group of long time WORS participants to staff key positions for the revamped Battle of CamRock. WORS will be working Dane County Parks CamRock Park and CORP (Capital Off Road Pathfinders) the IMBA-affiliated volunteer organization that builds and maintains all of the off-road cycling trails in and around Dane County. CamRock has a great trail system and past races have always been at the top of WORS participants favorites. A separate race course just for the kids will be set up early and provide our youngest riders with fun a plenty. Bring the family as there will be a full day of racing and spectating for all. Or come for the pre-ride on Saturday and make a weekend of it with onsite camping or lodging right in town.
The trail system at CamRock is an awesome blend of wide and fast flowing single-track that runs through open fields of prairie grass, wooded single-track with bermed turns and more technical singletrack with a touch of roots and rocks. The Battle of CamRock will be fun and challenging for all levels, Citizen to Elite, with fun single-track, great downhill, feed zones and, of course, the sprint to the finish.
A $2.00 charge issued by Dane County Parks Department will be collected from each rider on race day prior to your race.

Course Description

A mountain biking journey along the hills of the Koshkonong Creek. The start is a dash to the top, climbing for a half mile through the vendor area followed by lots of fast fun as racers negotiate trail characterized by its varied topography and beautiful landscape. Citizen and Juniors courses are less technical with significantly less climbing. The Sport course takes it up a notch and the Comp/Elite course adds even more technical challenge and climbing.
