The 2004 WORS Awards Banquet is scheduled for Saturday October 30th at Devil?s Head Resort, Merrimac, Wisconsin. Banquet tickets are on sale online for $19 each for Adults and $10 for children twelve and under, or you can buy them by mailing a check for $18 per adult and $9 for each child?s ticket to WORS Racing, 8675 Rolling Hills Rd, Custer, WI 54423. Please include a self addressed stamped envelope. Tickets will also be available at the WORS tent at both Iola and Sheboygan.

WORS has a block of rooms reserved at a special price. You can reserve yours by calling Devil?s Head at 1-800-472-6670 by Oct. 15, 2004 and telling them you are attending the WORS Awards Banquet. Get your tickets early to reserve your spot at the Banquet; attendance is limited to 400.

Awards Banquet Agenda

10:00 Open riding on the Devils Head trails
Bring your bike and join fellow WORS racers for a casual ride of the fun and challenging Devil?s Head mountain bike trail system.

11:00 Race directors meeting
Race directors meet to discuss 2004 and prepare for the 2005 season. This meeting is only for race directors and special quests of WORS until 3:00 when all in attendance will adjourn to the ?riders? meeting?.

3:00 Riders? meeting
Come early to give your input on issues and concerns regarding WORS. Don and most of the race directors will be available to address you questions and concerns.

4:00 Social Hour
Cash bar with lots of good conversation on WORS 2004 and anticipation of 2005.

6:00 Dinner
A scrumptious buffet featuring: chicken Marcella, vegetable lasagna, baked potato with sour cream, green beans almandine, fruit ambrosia, tossed lettuce salad, coleslaw, rolls, dessert and coffee, tea or milk.

7:00 Awards
Overall awards WORS 2004 sponsored by Subaru, Driven by What?s Inside, including: the USA Cycling Citizen, Saris Sport, Clif Bar Comp, and BelGioioso Elite series, Team Competition awards, drawing for Overall Raffle (for all WORS 2004 overall finishers, need not be present to win) and the infamous schwag laden WORS Banquet Raffle (only WORS 2004 overall finishers in attendance are eligible). Each raffle features a $2000 Gary Fisher bicycle, the official bike of WORS as well as merchandise from WORS product sponsors: Park Tool, Bontrager, Louis Garneau, Rudy Project, Hayes Disc Brakes, and Festina.
