Pan Am Games MTB Team Includes Two From WORS

USA Cycling has announced the mountain bike team selections for this year?s Pan Am Game and the team includes two WORS racers. 2001 and 2002 WORS overall champion, Tristan Schouten from Sheboygan, WI has been selected to ride on the United States U23 Men?s Team. A member of PCW Cycling Team, Tristan recently placed twenty-seventh in the Pro race at the first NORBA National of the year in Waco, Texas.

Seventeen-year-old Holly Liske, a High School junior from Medford, WI will ride on the United States Junior Women?s Team. Holly placed sixth overall in the WORS Expert women?s series last year while riding for the Hayes Disc Brake Dirty Dozen team.

Unfortunately these team selections do not include monetary support for the expense (air travel, lodging, meals, etc.) of competing in the games April 22-25 in Banos, Ecuador.
