Bring it!
WORS Women are a group of women who enjoy the sport of mountain biking in the upper midwest. Our goal is to encourage more women to share our sport. Some of us are racers, some of us just ride for fun and many of us are beginners just learning the sport. We want you to come ride with us!Those are the opening lines of our mission statement, penned over 3 years ago and still the best description of WORS Women. We want women at all levels of skill, fitness and experience to come out and ride with us. And sometimes, a great ride together means you're going to need a long-sleeve jersey, or a new pair of shoes. At Sheboygan, WORS Women and TeamWORS will be setting up a free, women's and juniors bike-stuff exchange table at the WORS Registration tent.
- If you love bikes as much as we do, you have extra bike stuff. If you have extra bike stuff that someone else could use - bring it. It's liberating to get rid of that extra stuff and especially when you know it's going to be appreciated! Add to the pile at any time.
- If you are a beginning rider or starving college student in need of a few gently used jerseys, or some clip-less pedals, or maybe a helmet... stop by!
- Once set-up, the table will be first-come, first-served all weekend, starting after the Learn to Race Clinic is over on Saturday.
- Experienced riders, it's A-OK to stop by and find something for yourself - as long as you bring something to give!
