ATTENTION: Online Event RegistrantsDue to recent changes with credit card processing methods as well as an undiscovered error in the online event registration system, all event registrations that took place before 3:00pm on April 20th, 2004 were declined. Because of the error, those registering for the Alpine Valley Open or any other event were informed their registration was a success, when in fact, it had failed. If this applies to you (or someone you know), you will have to re-register for the event(s) you had originally registered for. I apologize for this major inconvenience. Should you have any questions regarding this issue, please contact webmaster@wors.org.

Just to clarify: This error only affected the event registration system. Series registrations, as well as All-In-One registrations were not affected.

WORS Office, Online Registration, Series NumbersThree important updates:

1) The WORS Office will be closed from April 13 at noon until 8:00am on April 20th. All emails, etc, will not be received until that time. You may direct general questions to the WORS Webmaster or post your question in the WORS Racer Forums.

2) Online event registration for the 2004 WORS Cross Country Series is now open. Quick, convenient, and secure. Just one signature at registration and you'll be set to go. Find out more about online event registration here.

3) For those who registred for the 2004 WORS Cross Country Series before midnight on Monday, April 12, postcards containing your series number will be mailed on April 14. Registration received after April 12 will be notified by email on April 21.
WORS Series Numbers and Registration ConfirmationSeries numbers have been assigned and registrations will be entered in the WORS timing and scoring database this Friday and Saturday. Postcards to inform registrants of their series numbers are scheduled for mailing early next week. Registrants will use this postcard to pick up their number at the WORS tent at Alpine Valley. This schedule should give registrants approximately 10 day to preregister for the Alpine Valley event.

Mail in registrations postmarked after 4/10 will not receive any prior notification of their number unless their registration form includes a valid e-mail address. Online registrations received between 4/10 and 4/17 will also receive e-mail number notice. All registration received after 4/17 will not receive prior notification of their series number and will have to wait until their first event when they pick up their number at the WORS tent.

WORS appreciates your understanding and patience,
Don
