More about the cameras:
GoPro is the world?s leading manu-facturer of wearable and vehicle mountable digital cameras for sports. Its products include the patented HERO line of shock-proof / waterproof wearable cameras and gear-attachment devices. GoPro just released the new 170 degree wide-angle lens Helmet HERO Wide camera, which dramatically shows more viewing area and more excitement than any other helmet camera. The Helmet HERO Wide is bundled with mounting accessories and retails for $189.99.
Team WORS was delighted to receive two of the new HERO Wide cameras and a selection of helmet, stem, handlebar and chest attachment options for the 2009 racing series. We?ve been asking riders of all ages and classes to wear the cameras at Subaru Cup, the Chippewa Valley Firecracker, and the Sunburst Showdown - and the cameras have captured some great video. You can watch the movies at the Team WORS Vimeo account: http://vimeo.com/WORS
If you?re interested in trying the camera out during your race, email us at teamWORS at gmail dot com. We need riders of all ages and abilities! Feel free to come by and take a look at the cameras after any Learn to Race Clinic, held the Saturday before each race.

- Best Photo or Video of the Start. The start at the Firecracker has a great, spectator friendly lead out.
- Best Photo or Video of Racers in a technical section. The fast, fun trails at Eau Claire feature several unique technical sections, including the rocky descent near the start, the sandy switchback hill and some great singletrack. As always, bonus points to those who snap a great photo of Citizen or Sport riders.
