WORS Sponsor Appreciation Book available Many of you share the WORS experience with friends and family. Some of you take amazing photos at WORS events and share them with us. Thanks! We'd like to share something with you. This 40-page full-color book captures moments from the 2009 season. We created it to help our Title Sponsor, Subaru, share the WORS experience. We're grateful to Subaru for their support over the years and we're happy to work hard to make sure that those who attend WORS races know what an outstanding company Subaru is. Check them out, really. If you see your photos, yourself or your friends in these pages, you can download the WORS Loves Subaru book here.
Become a "Local Champion" for High School MTB Racing in Wisconsin

If you follow WORS on Facebook or Twitter, you may have already signed on to support High School Mountain Bike Racing in Wisconsin. WORS is helping to make this a reality. Please take a moment to consider whether you, or someone you know, can help.

Help make High School mountain bike racing a reality in Wisconsin by becoming a "Local Champion"!

Wisconsin is a great place to ride our bikes!  We have hundreds of miles of singletrack, dozens of off-road cycling groups and one of the nation's strongest centers of cycling industry and advocacy!  Wisconsin already has the resources and the interest to create outstanding opportunities for fun, safe, statewide competitive mountain bike racing at the Junior level - and the time is now.

We're bringing people together across the state.  For many of you, you'll simply continue doing what you have been doing for years: helping young people to share in a sport that we love.  We'll need your support to make this a success, and we hope you'll join us.  Some of you may want to get involved now, and we'll be happy to help connect you with like-minded MTB enthusiasts in your area.  Some of you may be Juniors who are ready to try out, or further excel in, mountain bike racing on a competitive level.  We are a group of volunteers who love mountain biking and want to make this happen - and we need your help!

Our first goal is to organize Wisconsin's Junior MTBing enthusiasts into a network with two aims.  We want to put Junior MTB racing "on the map" in Wisconsin!

  1. To allow interested Juniors to find mentorship, friendship and support for riding and racing mountain bikes in their local community.
  2. To support and unite those of you who can offer help and guidance to interested Junior riders in your local community.

The first thing we'll do with this data is to create an interactive, online Wisconsin community map of resources for Juniors who are interested in mountain bike racing.  For clubs, teams, shops, families and individual racers, this map will be a resource to connect with others in your local area who share your excitement for hitting the trails.

There is no obligation implied here.  You can sign up without a "Public Contact" if you simply want us to keep you in the loop as we go.  We'd like to know you're interested, and you can unsubscribe at any time.  Your contact information will be kept strictly confidential and we'll never use it in any way other than to contact you about efforts to create high school mountain bike racing in Wisconsin.  Please be aware that if you choose to provide contact information in the "Public Contact" fields below for our online database, that information will be available online for anyone to find.

Please feel free to contact us at any time.

If you want to learn more about putting Junior racing on the map in Wisconsin, or have additional information or resources you can provide outside of the constraints of the form below, please contact Claire Cannon from TeamWORS, who is heading up the communication network and mapping project:

If you have more general questions about interest in NICA for Wisconsin, contact Chad Warren:

Please take a moment to join us by providing your individual, group, club, team, shop or industry contact information below.

And again - please feel free to contact Claire Cannon with additional information!

Thanks for supporting Junior MTB Racing in Wisconsin!  Share the love and let your friends who MTB know you're a "Local Champion" by emailing this link:, tweeting and sharing this page on Facebook.
