The Wisconsin Off-Road Series (WORS) wrapped up the first half of the season with race number five, The Red Flint Firecracker in Eau Claire, WI. WORS alongside CORBA (Chippewa Off-Road Bike Association) made safe and fun additions to the classic course which still included the favorites like the whoops and the onion with new rock piles brought in by a lead sponsor Red Flint. Although mother nature didn’t provide us with a sunny day to race, competitors still brought their “A-game” despite conditions.
The Wisconsin Off-Road Series put together an action packed weekend for the WORS Cup, more formally known as the Midwest Regional Championships last weekend in Elkhorn, WI. The steep slope of the Alpine Valley Ski Resort granted us the opportunity to host our first ever Dual Slalom event along with an enduro event. On the cross country side of things, racers competed in a cross country race and a short track race. Overall, the weekend was packed full of racing and it brought great spectating for family and friends.
La Crosse, WI-
The Wisconsin Off-Road Series (WORS) made its eighth stop of the season on the western edge of the State ontop the beautiful bluffs of La Crosse, WI last Sunday. The Hixon Forest Epic track is unlike any other on the WORS circuit as long sustained climbs shake up racer’s strategy while the screaming fast single track creates an unrelenting race course. Overall, the venue is a breathtaking place to host a WORS race and it continues to bring families back year after year.
