Impressive Wins for Schneeberger and Guerra

WORS (Wisconsin Off-Road Series) presented by Trek held its 4th race of the season, The Red Flint Firecracker last Sunday June 26th in Eau Claire, WI. With the help of CORBA (Chippewa Off-road Bike Association) and Team WORS, we were able to put on a race full of fast singletrack covered with roots and rocks, hard packed whoops and wet creek crossings. The rain that came through Saturday helped to pack down the sandy corners making the conditions great for race day. The Pro/Elite Men’s field started out fast as always on the gravel road roll out.

Stelljes Wins His First Ever, Schneeberger Comes Out on Top

WORS presented by Trek made its second stop of the season in Rockdale, WI hosting the Battle Of Camrock. A few weeks after the opener, the WORS family was brought together again for some fun in the sun and some hard racing. Despite the rain on Saturday, the conditions on Sunday were perfect with tacky hero dirt. The Battle Of Camrock begins with the infamous start hill followed by a ride through the prairie and some tricky, fast descents.

House and Kriete Win WORS Opener

WORS presented by Trek began its 25th season in Iola, WI on Sunday, May 15th. The 2016 season opener, titled “The Iola Bump & Jump”, brought together old friends that the grim winter separated. Racers came into the WORS opener not knowing what to expect. It can give racers the satisfaction that their off season training paid off, or leave racers wishing they rode more through the winter months. Despite their readiness, WORS racers were eager to visit the pain cave.

Dendel and Guerra Steal The Wins At The Hixon Forest Epic

LaCrosse WI-

Last weekend the Wisconsin Off Road Series(WORS) made a stop in the western part of the state for the Hixon Forest Epic. The 10th race of the WORS season took place on a beautiful day in the bluffs of LaCrosse, drawing in over 400 finishers. The course was like no other, with a lead out to a long gravel road downhill, with racers reaching top speeds. Once competitors reached the bottom of the bluff, they began the approximately 15 minute switchback climb back to the top where it was a half mile road time trial to the singletrack.

Guerra Takes the Win While Dendel Remains Undefeated

Guerra Takes First Win for 2014 WORS Season   Report by Todd Nutter The Wisconsin Off Road Series (WORS), sponsored by Trek Bicycles, has maintained its popularity in the cross country mountain biking scene for over two decades. One of the credits to its longevity is its ability to stay fresh by changing courses from year to year, adding more variety for racers. The “Red Eye Rendezvous” in Wausau, WI. exemplified this concept once again this year by offering new and different changes to the race to keep riders on their toes.
