End of the WORS 2008 Season: Awards Banquet and Movie

The 2008 Subaru-sponsored Wisconsin Off Road Series came to an official close on Saturday October 25 at the Awards Banquet, held in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Those who made the trek enjoyed the WORS 2008 Movie (click below to watch) and a slide presentation during dinner, followed by the awards and a raffle for more than $25,000 in prizes.

WORS Series Banquet Raffle Winners

The excitement continued last Saturday night at the WORS Series Awards Banquet as winners of the WORS Overall Raffle were drawn. All 2012 WORS overall finishers were included in this drawing and each had a chance at winning many of the same great prizes from our sponsors that the Elite overall champs receive for their efforts. The lucky winners are listed below. The overall drawing for those in attendance was followed by a general raffle.

WORS 2011 Awards Banquet Report

Good friends, good food, big awards, plentiful prizes, and a great time: all were on the menu for the annual WORS Awards Banquet. Approximately 300 of the WORS faithful gathered at the Holiday Inn in Stevens Point, Wisconsin on October 22nd to celebrate the conclusion of this year’s Wisconsin Off Road Series sponsored by Subaru. The festivities began with a social hour, allowing racers an opportunity to meet with friends and competitors to rehash their favorite experiences from the 2011 series.

A scavenger hunt event presented by Trek Women that will lead SUPERFANS to the best spectator areas on the Pro course during the Pro women’s race. The event is open to both men and women - and all who complete the hunt will be entered to win a Trek gift card presented during the Pro awards by Emily Batty of Subaru Trek team.
