The 2009 Subaru-sponsored Wisconsin Off Road Series was celebrated on Saturday October 17 as WORS racers, friends and family gathered for the Annual Awards Banquet at Sentry World Sports Center in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

The 2008 Subaru-sponsored Wisconsin Off Road Series came to an official close on Saturday October 25 at the Awards Banquet, held in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Those who made the trek enjoyed the WORS 2008 Movie (click below to watch) and a slide presentation during dinner, followed by the awards and a raffle for more than $25,000 in prizes.

The festivities at the 2012 WORS Series Awards banquet began with a social hour, allowing racers an opportunity to meet with friends and competitors to rehash their favorite experiences.  The awards followed at 7:00, with series director, Don Edberg leading the thank you and recognition of WORS sponsors, race directors, local organizing committees, land owners, WORS timing and Scoring crew, WORS Marketing Director and Race Reporter Claire Gehling, new Race Reporter Todd Nutter, webmaster Ryan Rastedt, on-site WORS tent manager Karen Gunderson, the WORS posse (the volunteers who do the set-up a

The excitement continued last Saturday night at the WORS Series Awards Banquet as winners of the WORS Overall Raffle were drawn. All 2012 WORS overall finishers were included in this drawing and each had a chance at winning many of the same great prizes from our sponsors that the Elite overall champs receive for their efforts. The lucky winners are listed below. The overall drawing for those in attendance was followed by a general raffle.

Thank you for helping us to make WORS events even better. This survey will probably take around 5 minutes of your time. Every WORS event is run in partnership with a local organizer. Treadfest is organized by the Tread Head Cycling racing team on trails maintained at the Grand Geneva Resort. Thank you for your support! The Annual WORS Awards banquet, including the world-famous WORS Sponsor Raffle, will be held on October 20 at the Holiday Inn in Stevens Point, WI. Meetings for Race Directors and Riders will be scheduled prior to the Banquet in the afternoon. [highlight]Update - Final pre-Subaru Cup Trail Day this Sunday[/highlight] WORS and WAMBA (the Wautoma Area Mountain Bike Association) are asking for your help with some new construction and maintenance of the Nordic Mountain mountain bike trails this Sunday, August 12 from 9-3.  This will be final prep for Subaru Cup!  Super D and Short Track courses as well as all XC courses will be previewed. Inviting Spectators?  Free Shuttle Service at Battle of Cam Rock There will be a shuttle bus picking up and dropping off people at the following locations in a clockwise rotation every 15 or 20 minutes all day on Sunday.

• CamRock 1 Parking Location 1;
• CamRock 2 Parking Location 2;
• Airfield Parking/Camping Location 3;
• CamRock 3 EXPO Area;
• Field North of CamRock3 (Parking Location 4);
• CamRock Sport and Cafe in Cambridge.

No charge for people riding to and from venue. Please, no bikes on shuttle bus.

All Clinic participants must register for that Sunday's race, sign their waiver, and affix their bicycle number plate before attending the Learn to Race Clinic, with the exception of parents accompanying a Junior racer.  All Juniors 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent.  Clinic start times have been moved back to 3:30 PM to accommodate this.  The Clinic will gather and leave from the WORS Registration tent on the Saturday before each race at 3:30 PM.
