Three hundred WORS racers, family and friends congregated at the Holiday Inn in Stevens Point on Saturday October 14th to celebrate the completion of the twenty-sixth year of WORS.Â Â WORS annual Awards Banquet included a great buffet style meal, the presentation of WORS overall awards, WORS Overall Raffle, and our infamous banquet raffle.
Suamico, WI- The Wisconsin Off-Road Series made its 9th stop of the season in Eastern Wisconsin, just outside of Green Bay. WORS alongside the Ashwaubenon ski team and volunteers hosted the Reforestation Ramble as over 550 competitors came together to enjoy a fun weekend of racing and camaraderie.
The Wisconsin-Off Road Series made it’s 8th stop on the tour in the bluffs of La Crosse where racers searched for crucial series points and a good time! Despite the recent flooding in the western part of the Badgerland, the race course held up fairly well. Some adjustments were made in the lower lands but nevertheless the volunteers and the WORS staff made sure the course held up to its name. The Hixon Forest Epic flowed up and down the bluffs while snaking through the forest challenging every racer to his or her maximum capabilities.
Last weekend, the Wisconsin Off-Road Series held the Mid-Westerns most premier mountain bike race, WORS Cup, at the Alpine Valley Ski Resort. Racers competed in a cross country race, short track event, and an enduro race all striving to be the regional champion. Alpine Valley mountain bike trails snake up and down ski runs while weaving through the woods on fast single track with tight corners.
Eau Claire,WI The thirteenth year of the Red Flint Firecracker was the coldest to date, with temperatures hovering just about 50 degrees and mother nature made sure to throw in some rain too! Despite the weather, WORS alongside CORBA made it a weekend to remember with a pre-race spaghetti feed, endless s’mores and of course the infamous Firecracker socks!
Mt. Morris, WI- The Wisconsin Off-Road Series is in full swing with the fourth race of the year held at Nordic Mountain in Mt. Morris, WI. The Mt. Morris challenge presented by the Waushara Area Mountain Bike Association(WAMBA) gave WORS racers one of the most challenging and exciting races on the circuit.
Cambridge, WI- The third stop on the WORS circuit was the Battle of Camrock on a beautiful and quite toasty Sunday afternoon. Wisconsin Off Road Series (WORS) presented by Trek alongside the Capital Off Road Pathfinders (CORP) set up a fast and hard course for all racers to enjoy. The track climbed up and down the CamRock County Park with sections of root’n’rocks and great hero dirt that would fulfill every racer’s dream.

Guerra Win Iola Bump and Jump Iola, Wi What has previously been known as the first WORS race, the Iola Bump and Jump was the second stop on the 2017 Wisconsin Off Road Racing series presented by Trek. Just because the order was changed, doesn’t mean the weather was any different. The Iola Bump and Jump is infamously known for either an abundance of rain and mud or the hot and humid air of spring.
Fall River, WI As May flowers roll around, so do the tires of the Wisconsin Off Road Series (WORS) presented by Trek. The 2017 season kicked off with the Englewood Opener in Fall River, WI near Madison last Sunday. Ben and Christi Agnew, owners of the Englewood Grass Farm, were kind enough to host the WORS community for a fun filled weekend. The course snaked through the farm and along the ridge with fast grassy sections, sharp wooden berms and tricky rock garden. Post-race entertainment included the awards ceremony, prize raffle, and live music.
