WORS blog updates
Brian Matter is a 3-time Overall WORS Champion and is in it to win it in 2011. He has some tough competition at the front, but managed to come out on top at the Trek Big Ring Classic - by one of the narrowest margins in WORS history.
Nathan Guerra (Wheel & Sprocket / Vision) finished the 2010 WORS season in third place overall in the BelGioioso Elite men's field. A WORS Series race for over 7 years, Nathan began at WORS in the Citizen Series. Improving steadily each year, Nathan took his first BelGioioso Elite race win at the Alterra Coffee Bean Classic in 2009. At the Iola Bump & Jump on May 1, he placed 7th, despite a flat tire. Here's Nathan's edit of his race at Iola.
New for 2011, WORS will share updates from racers at all levels here at wors.org. Check out our new WORS Racers page to submit your stories. We want to hear from you! Tristan Schouten wrote a great update after Iola this year, reflecting not only on the WORS Series, but on how 10+ years of racing in Wisconsin and on the national scene comes down to what really matters.
